District Fit Is Back, Transforming West Palm Beach Into a Fitness Haven While Supporting the Local Community

Multi-day fitness and wellness festival to take place at Rosemary Square and Hilton West Palm Beach; Proceeds benefit United Way’s Women United Initiative

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – (February 26, 2020) – District Fit, the bi-annual event focused on mindful movement, physical fitness, and preventative care will bring the community together again in Downtown West Palm Beach on March 12-15 in support of women’s empowerment programs in Palm Beach County. The large-scale, multi-day fitness and wellness festival will take place on the lawns at Hilton West Palm Beach and the new green space in the heart of Rosemary Square, boasting a lineup of more than 20 free and donation-based workouts and experiences led by elite fitness trainers and a variety of wellness experts. District Fit proceeds will be donated to United Way’s Women United initiative, which engages, empowers, and educates local women interested in strengthening their community through fundraising, volunteering, networking and learning opportunities.

  • Mental Fitness Class with Brosnan Security focused on self-defense in partnership with West Palm Beach Police Department.
  • Beer Yoga with Fitness Hub featuring thirst-quenching poses and complimentary beers provided by Copper Blues.
  • Sunrise Yoga with Natalie Addison designed to wake up your body and mind.
  • Sound Meditation, a musical journey with a frequency that reduces stress and anxiety while enhancing mental and emotional balance led by Wayne Perry.
  • Creative Movement, a method combining what feels familiar yet undiscovered through gestures and movement, led by Ashli Katz.
  • Fight Club with Tribe Studio, a blend of athletic drills mixed with martial arts style movements to create a fun and challenging cardiovascular workout.
  • Grit/Power Abs/Stretch & Recover, a series of classes led by Fitness Hub, featuring a 30-minute HIIT workout scientifically proven to deliver incredible results through intense athletic training and cardio strength, a 15-minute class targeting all core muscles, and a 15-minute recovery bringing the body back to optimal posture, length and balance.
