District Fit Returns to Downtown West Palm Beach for its Fourth Edition

Multi-day wellness festival to take place at both Rosemary Square and Hilton West Palm Beach
Proceeds will benefit Hope Water as well as American Cancer Society in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – District Fit, the bi-annual event focused on mindful movement, physical fitness, and preventative care will return to Downtown West Palm Beach on October 10-13 in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The large-scale, multi-day wellness festival will take place at Hilton West Palm Beach and Rosemary Square and boasts a lineup of free and donation-based workouts led by elite fitness trainers, as well as culinary events and workshops with local chefs and tastemakers. District Fit proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society to support the organization’s mission to fight for a world without cancer, and Hope Water, a social enterprise devoted to increasing access to clean drinking water around the world.

The fourth edition of District Fit will offer a number of experiences focused on a holistic approach to health and wellness, including a healthy cooking demo by Top Chef finalist Lindsay Autry at The Regional Kitchen & Public House; a vegan skincare class with Sephora; a healthy specialty menu featuring cancer fighting ingredients at Galley, Hilton West Palm Beach’s signature restaurant; as well as a beach cleanup in Palm Beach with Turtle Tuesday and Loggerhead Marinelife Center. District Fit will also host a variety of activities themed to Breast Cancer Awareness Month including the Kathryn Krickstein Pressel, MammoVan, Copper Blues’ Pink Brunch, and pink beer from Mathews Brewing Company and a featured pink menu throughout Hilton West Palm Beach.


Additional programming highlights for the October event include:

  • Full Moon Yoga with Shelly Saunier on the lawn at Hilton West Palm Beach.
  • POUND®, a full-body cardio jam session on the Hibiscus Garage Rooftop at Rosemary Square,
  • with instructor Alina Orenstein
  • Bounce Fit, an innovative and unique workout that combines the immune-boosting and cardiovascular benefits of rebounding with the strengthening benefits of barre, a total-body trampoline workout, with instructor Ginelle Ruffa.
  • Hops Taking Flight, a workshop for beer lovers and plant “nerds” interested in learning more about hops and the brewing process, presented by PB Farmyards and Steam Horse Brewing Co.
  • Barry’s Bootcamp, the original high-intensity interval workout which aims to tone muscle and maximize fat loss through a combination of running and weights, with instructor Sammi Jay.
  • Tendu Toning®️, the revolutionary, fusion workout that combines the lengthening and flexibility of ballet with the strength and toning of weight training taught by Rachel Speck.
