Shop For Success Pop-Up Returning, Relocating To Rosemary Square

Flash Sale Benefitting Dress for Success Is Set for November 5-7

October 6, 2021

(WEST PALM BEACH, FL – OCTOBER 6, 2021) — Fashion bargain hunters will again soon be able to satisfy their cravings for exceptional deals of up to 70% off couture and name brand labels when Dress for Success Palm Beaches (DFSPB) brings back its Shop for Success Pop-Up Sale, Friday, November 5 through Sunday, November 7. Resumption of this favorite retail ritual, now in its sixth year but paused in 2020 due to the pandemic, is taking place for the first time at popular shopping and dining destination Rosemary Square (The Square). The weekend-long flash sale experience will be housed in a shop that’s located between Anthropologie and Life in Palm Beach.

Among the couture finds are a nearly new Armani dress for $75, a pre-owned St. John jacket for $75, a mint-condition Chanel handbag for $150, and barely worn Ferragamo shoes for $35. Designer names that resonate with shoppers include Eileen Fisher, Kate Spade, Lilly Pulitzer, Michael Kors, Tahari and Theory, to name a few, with items from such collections priced no higher than $25. As for popular everyday brands like Banana Republic, White House Black Market and Talbot’s, shoppers will find them at unbeatable prices: $10 for dresses, $5 for tops, pants, and skirts, plus shoes BOGO, $10. In addition to clothing in sizes petite to plus, an array of accessories including handbags, jewelry, belts and scarves will be available. A ticketed VIP Preview Reception on Thursday, November 4, 6-9 p.m., officially kicks off the opening of the pop-up and is the perfect opportunity for diehard fashionistas to enjoy an advance shopping night with Champagne, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment. Tickets for this launch, which is limited to 50 guests, are $50, and available at https://bit.ly/VIPNight21. General public shopping hours are Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and Sunday, 12 noon until 5 p.m.

“The Shop for Success inventory reads like a who’s who of fashion brands,” said Caressa Gonzalez, co-chair of the fundraising initiative alongside fellow DFSPB board member Lori Everett. “Some items are gently worn, some still have original price tags. All were generously donated to Dress for Success but don’t quite fit the criteria the organization upholds for the workplace attire that we dress our job-seeking clients in at no cost,” she explained.

A squad of nearly 100 volunteers will staff the sale from the opening event until its closing. And, with the generosity of Related Companies providing the venue at The Square, and Good Greek Moving & Storage transporting the merchandise, DFSPB is hoping to match, if not surpass, past years’ goals in raising 25% of its annual job readiness programming funds.
