August 2 – Coloring Book Day #ColoringBookDay

Add some color to your summer with Coloring Book Day on August 2. Unleash your creative side at our Armory Arts Center Workshop on August 17 for a hands-on artistic experience that will inspire your inner Picasso. Open to artists of all ages!

August 8 – National Bowling Day #BowlingDay

Celebrate National Bowling Day at our Daytime Playtime event, held every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10AM-2PM! Join us weekly for this casual play date on the lawn featuring water tables, hula hoops, and lawn games (like bowling!). After a round of games, cool off at the Water Pavilion and pack your lawn blankets for some shady relaxation. Ideal for little ones 5 and under, but all ages are welcome.

August 8 – International Cat Day #CatDay

Embrace your inner cat lover with International Cat Day at Urban Outfitters. Discover quirky and nostalgic finds like the Kit-Cat Solar Alarm Clock, a delightful nod to your feline friends. Whether you're a cat owner or just an enthusiast, you'll find something to purr over. 

August 10 – Lazy Day #LazyDay

Sometimes, a lazy day is just what you need. Skip the kitchen and head to Maman for a leisurely Saturday brunch. While August at CityPlace seems to be all fun and games, it’s also back-to-school season! Help prepare students for success with our Pack a Backpack school supply drive, hosted by Path to College. Donate essential supplies for Palm Beach County high school students in need who participate in Path to College’s rigorous three-year academic scholarship, and help set our local youth up for success. Donate from Path to College’s Amazon wish list to make a difference in a child’s education—donations accepted through Monday, August 19! 

August 19 – World Photo Day #WorldPhotoDay

Celebrate World Photo Day by exploring our stunning backdrops, from elegant architecture to vibrant murals and art installations. Take a photo under the Wishing Tree, or see our newest art installation by Amy Lincoln over by The Laurel. August 20 – National Lemonade Day #NationalLemonadeDay
