A Day at The Square with Maria Cadet of Bella Rosa
Local lifestyle blogger, influencer, and vlogger Maria Cadet of Bella Rosa visited the neighborhood for a Sunday shopping and dining. Check out her must-see destinations in The Square.
Growing up in West Palm Beach, I spent many of my weekends in The Square, formerly known as CityPlace. Whether it was to watch a movie or have dinner, I’ve created many memories with my friends and family strolling down the streets of downtown West Palm Beach.
This past weekend, I got to relive one of my childhood memories and had a fun-filled day at the renewed The Square. Here are my top picks for a Sunday around the neighborhood.
Dining
There are so many options on the Square. I had lunch at one of the newest restaurants: Taqueria Bonita’s. The owner has another location in West Palm named Zipitios that I’ve been to. I loved the food there, but the menu at Bonita’s is completely different. And, let’s talk about the flavors. I had the best options on the menu: the lamb barbacoa, braised steak and chicken mole tacos. All of them were delicious and I think I’ve found my new favorite taco restaurant downtown.
Shopping
You simply can’t visit the Square without doing a little shopping. My favorite retail stores are H&M, Anthropologie, and Solid & Striped.
I stopped by Solid & Striped and left with a beautiful swimsuit right in time for spring. They have a wide range of swim and resort wear options for all shapes and sizes. And now, they even carry workout apparel.
More Favorites
For the last stop of my visit, I took advantage of the live music at the Square and stopped by Birdie Floral Truck to pick a lovely bouquet of flowers. They were beautiful and smelled amazing.
Although I enjoyed The Square growing up, I love all the new dining and shopping experiences it offers now. It’s the perfect spot for a fun-filled Sunday.
