Supporting Police Athletic League on the Lawn & on the Green
Whether providing a venue for teens to lead an art workshop or swinging golf clubs to raise money, The Square and Related Southeast were proud to support the West Palm Beach Police Athletic League (PAL) during community events on April 14th and 23rd.
On April 14th, The Square teamed up with the organization as well as Norton Museum of Art to host a free, outdoor workshop to celebrate World Art Day. Children and teens of PAL, along with Norton teaching artist Jose Mendez, guided guests in creating a spray paint design inspired by the beautiful mosaic of tamarind flowers on the PAL building.
On April 23rd, PAL hosted their annual golf tournament to raise money for summer programming. Derrek Steinour, Hilton complex director of sales & marketing, and Jon Blunk, founder and president of Tower Commercial Real Estate, represented 360 Rosemary in the tournament. Funds raised from the annual golf tournament help PAL plan summer field trips and develop life skills classes.
The West Palm Beach Police Athletic League (PAL) nurtures youth, ages 3-17, by engaging them with peers, parents, law enforcement officers, and the community at-large in recreation, sports, academics, and enrichment. Their programming is designed to give kids a safe place to learn, play, connect to their community, and ultimately create strong civically engaged leaders that are passionate about making their community a better place.
