Over $21K Raised at Taste of CityPlace 2024
Taste of CityPlace: Celebrating Community, Culinary Artistry, and a Cause
The third annual Taste of CityPlace on October 17, 2024, was a night to remember, celebrating the homegrown spirit of West Palm Beach with the highest attendance in the event’s history and raising a record-breaking $21,924 in donations for the Promise Fund of Florida. Thanks to our vibrant community, generous partners, and talented chefs, this year’s event surpassed all expectations in supporting the Promise Fund’s vital mission of providing quality breast and cervical cancer screenings and resources.
With more than 20 participating restaurants and over 550 guests sampling local culinary creations, the evening transformed CityPlace into a showcase of flavors, live music, and Florida’s finest ingredients. Chefs from Adrienne’s Pizzabar, Angie’s Epicurean, Barrio, BurgerFi, City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill, Cheesecake Factory, El Camino, Felice, Galley, Harry's, Il Bellagio, maman, Planta, Pura Vida, Sloan's, Starbucks, Sur La Table, sweetgreen, The Salty Donut, True Food Kitchen, oHHo, and estiatorio Milos brought dishes crafted with farm-fresh ingredients, highlighting CityPlace’s best offerings.
This year, attendees could enjoy specialty cocktails at the VIP bar, hosted by City Cellar, with highlights including Prosecco Zero and a “Flamingo” margarita cocktail crafted in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Other beverage sponsors included LaCroix and Munyon’s Paw Paw, whose vintage-inspired Floridian liqueur was a crowd favorite.
Activities for All Ages
Beyond the food and drink, the evening offered a variety of experiences. Guests explored CityPlace’s annual pumpkin patch, elegantly designed by Flowerbody Floral Design; practiced their swings on the Dryvebox Mobile Golf Simulator; and enjoyed lawn games and live music by the Javier Garcia band.
In keeping with the "Homegrown" theme, this year’s Taste of CityPlace introduced a Night Market spotlighting local vendors, including Palm Beach Salt Co., Sunshine Crunch, and Munyon's Paw Paw, creating a unique opportunity for guests to support local businesses and take home something special.

To wrap up the evening, attendees voted for their favorite dishes across several categories, celebrating the best of CityPlace’s culinary talent:
• Best Taste Overall: Galley at the Hilton West Palm Beach – Chargrilled Octopus
• Best Side Dish: Harry’s Bar & Restaurant – Tuna Tartare with Micro Greens, Taro Root, and Lemon
• Best Sweet Dish: The Salty – Assortment of Mini Donuts, including Traditional Glazed, Vanilla Bean Glazed Tres Leches White Chocolate, and Whipped Nutella Crunch.
• Best Savory Dish: El Camino – Tamales with Salsa Roja, Sour Cream, and Cilantro
• Best Service: The Salty
