Play Well with Words Art Class

Inspired by summertime, let your imagination take you anywhere. Think of a word that describes your summer...What colors does that word express? What patterns come to mind? Now let's create! 

During this family-friendly art class, hosted by New Wave's Artist-in-Residence participant Asser Saint-Val and Pranoo Kumar of Rohi's Readery, kids will use a variety of letter stencils to create personalized artworks inspired by literature textbooks from Rohi’s Readery bookstore and images of Asser Saint-Val’s mixed media paintings. Come test your creative skills using simple materials, such as letter stencils, rulers, and images.
